Refyne contains lidocaine, an anesthetic that reduces pain during injection. Our Boston Restylane Refyne patients may be administered a topical numbing cream or ice prior to injection for a more comfortable experience. After numbing, a series of quick injections take place. Slight pressure and mild discomfort will dissipate only seconds after injection. The filler is safely injected into the skin with a fine, sterile needle. Injections are done according to the safest injection techniques, as recommended by the manufacturer.
